Some of the the most frightening stories in living memory are being witnessed right now. And there is very little that can be done for us. It is up to each of us individually to make sure we keep ourselves, and our loved ones safe. In spite of all of that, Spring marches on. We made it through the long cold Winter, political unrest, impeachment trials, and threats of war. It will get warmer, and the days will get longer. Kathy and I will keep Plant Wisdom open for the foreseeable future. For no reason other than the plants will keep growing and will remain reliant on us to keep them happy.
To that end, we will be working on putting an inventory list on our web page(Look for a page in the banner menu). Kathy and I will be happy to make deliveries. We would still love to see all of our customers, but we value your continued health more than a couple bucks in the short term. Not to mention the health of our elderly family members and my month and a half old daughter, Mia.
Here is what we propose:
We don’t have the online ordering infrastructure set up to do true order and delivery.
In the coming days you will see a new page on our website with a basic list of our inventory. If you don’t see what you want, it may just not be uploaded yet. Please contact us.

-Pick the ones you want, and we can accept contactless payments in person or over the phone.

Obviously nothing beats walking around a garden center in spring and bringing home a new friend and chlorophyll baby. But if you can avoid coming to the store, you might just save a life.
Thank you all,
Alex

We are very sad to announce that this month, June 2020, will be the last month of Plant Wisdom’s brick and mortar location at 4711 N May Ave. The new owners of Mayfair have other plans for our location and have decided not to renew our lease. While we are sad, we are far from being finished. We are planning on continuing our presence at Scissortail’s Farmers Market on Saturdays, we will be at area festivals, and we hope to continue our events and classes that have become some of our favorite times with our friends and customers.
While not coming to Mayfair everyday will be a difficult adjustment for us, our hope is that we can continue to hear from you and help with all your horticultural questions. We will continue to concentrate on the unique and hardy herbs, fruits, vegetables, native perennials, and tropicals that you have come know and expect from us. The online catalog we started on our web page at the beginning of the Covid-19 lockdown will continue and expand. We will maintain our presence on Facebook and Instagram so you can always stay up to date on what we are growing. And always, we welcome your e-mails and messages
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all so much for your friendship, support and patronage.
